Don't worry—you still have options!

Many states and provinces have policies that allow you to say NO to dissection. Check out our map or text us to find out whether your state offers a dissection-choice policy:

U.S.:

Text your state's two-letter abbreviation to 30933. If you live in Hawaii, Indiana, Ohio, or Oklahoma, text your full state name to 30933.

Get Smart!

Take this sample letter to your principal and explain that you don't want to dissect animals. Remember: Be polite!

Get Active!

Grab petition sheets, 'missing' posters, and leaflets and ask your classmates and friends to support a student's right to say NO to dissection!

Get Support!

Ask your parents to talk to school officials with you and urge them to support your decision to save lives by opting out of dissection.
